Studio Update: Pear Zine 5, More Totes, and Watercolor Painting

Pear Zine Issue 5: Toys is complete and available for purchase here in my shop! I am super happy with this issue and hope you love it as much as I do. Here is a sneak peak of the intro spread.

This week I also finally got around to printing the rest of the tote pieces I had sitting in my office. I have not had a lot of free time to construct totes lately, and I was antsy to finish up my initial pile. I still need to print the lips, but I had to let the first layer of ink dry first. To be sure it is fully dry, I like to leave mine overnight. I am hoping that by the next studio update I will have begun the sewing process.

I got a lot accomplished this week, so I decided to find some time for watercolor painting. I used to paint with watercolors a lot when I was first starting out as an artist, but I've been more focused on design pursuits lately. I'm definitely more than a little rusty, but I was super happy with this pink painting I did.
