Start by designing a skirt of your choice. For this prompt, the skirt should stand alone and not be connected as a dress. This is what I came up with.
Copy your skirt 3 times. Style each one in a different way. At this point, you could turn it into a dress for some of your variations, or you could style it as a skirt with different tops. Playing with color will add another dimension to your variations if you want to take it a step further.
